We have truck mounted steam extractors and well-trained people to operate them. We also have portable equipment to clean areas not reachable with the truck mount. We can provide residential and commercial carpet cleaning as a one-time service or to our existing customers. In our current facilities we watch high traffic areas such as entrance areas and make recommendations to our customers on how to keep their carpet looking great.
Vinyl Composition Tile (VCT) Maintenance
There are four different levels of VCT maintenance that may apply to your building in any given month. They are, from least aggressive to most aggressive:
- Burnish the tile—includes dust mopping, damp mopping with a chemical called “Rebound”, and buffing the tile with a high speed burnisher. Following the buffing, the tile will be dust mopped again.
- Rebound the tile—includes dust mopping, damp mopping with Rebound, buffing the tile with a high speed burnisher, and applying one coat of new floor finish in the traffic lanes if necessary. After the new finish dries, the floor is then buffed again to blend the new finish with the old. Following the final buffing, the tile will be dust mopped again.
- Top scrub and recoat the tile—includes machine scrubbing the floor with a neutral cleaner or a mild stripping solution to remove the top coat of finish. After thoroughly rinsing the floor, we buff it using a high speed burnisher, dust mop it, apply two to four coats of new finish, and buff again. Following the final buffing, the tile will be dust mopped again.
- Strip and refinish the tile—includes machine scrubbing the floor with a stripping solution to remove all existing finish. After thoroughly rinsing the floor, reseal the pores with two coats of finish, and then apply 3 “foundation” coats and a final “sacrificial” coat. The tile will be buffed following the application of the sealer coats and again following the application of the sacrificial coat. The tile will be dust mopped after each buffing.
